On egin!
In the Basque language, that's the rough equivalent of "Bon appetit!" And it's certainly an appropriate
expression for anyone who surveys the wide and growing variety of culinary offerings in our wonderful city.
No matter what your taste or craving, Boise has something to satisfy, from the simplest of comfort foods to
the most exotic international fare. Our downtown area is acclaimed for its many restaurants, bistros, wine
bars and coffee shops. But every part of our community has its own unique dining opportunities, and together
they add up to an endless bounty of fine food and drink. And in a city where the sun shines 250-plus days a
year, outdoor eating is practically a requirement. Before and after your meal, do check out Boise's marvelous
array of activities — sports, movies, theater, music and museums. If it's not too late in the day,
a stroll along the Greenbelt can be better than dessert.
Boise is a city that loves life, loves fun and loves food. I invite you to join us at the table and enjoy what's on the menu.
Ondo ibili! (Best wishes!)
Dave Bieter, Mayor
City of Boise

Dining Decisions Magazine and DiningDecisions.com
Over the past 12 years Dining Decisions Magazine has evolved into a beautiful and informative 52-page, full-color glossy dining guide. Our editorial philosophy remains unchanged, as we strive to provide our readers with a comprehensive, quick and easy reference guide to the great restaurants and dining establishments in and around the Boise Metro Area. Just this past decade, Idaho and the Boise Metro Area, in particular, have experienced a healthy growth in ethnic diversity and multi-culturalism. We believe that a true barometer of this growth is reflected in the diversity of our restaurants, much to the delight and benefit of us all.
While it is impossible to present every possible dining choice,we do provide you with an excellent representation of many of the area's finest establishments in a way that reflects both the variety and the quality of the choices that are available.
Whether you live in the Boise Metro Area, or are visiting for business or pleasure, be sure to mention to the restauranteur that you selected their establishment from Dining Decisions web site. Your patronage will be very much appreciated.
Please pay special attention to our locally owned and operated restaurants, as many of them have earned the trust and respect of the "locals" over the years. Most of our restaurants havea vested interest in our community and are anxious to share with you the best that our area has to offer.
Bon Appetit!
